“The Liv’n Out Loud! concept was born after I went through an unexpected and life-altering experience”, states Alyson Bruu, co-founder of Liv’n Out Loud! Clothing Company. “I had dramatic complications following very routine surgery and nearly died in the OR from massive hemorrhaging. I came away a very different person; extremely enlightened and profoundly respectful of the frailty of life. I also knew that if I didn’t make the absolute most of my spirit and live my life to the fullest each day that I was making a grave mistake”, continues Bruu. It was shortly after that when Liv’n Out Loud!
was born…

Co-founder, and Bruu’s business partner, Kristine Fichera adds “ Alyson’s experience, coupled with what was becoming a completely uninspiring, though successful and very lucrative career in corporate America, pushed me over the edge.
I knew then that it was time to take a dramatic leap of faith in my personal and professional life. So I quit my career so I could put all of my time and energy into developing the Liv’n Out Loud! brand and lifestyle. That is how strongly I
believe in both”.

The mission of the company is two-fold: to sell exceptionally comfortable ‘down-time’ clothing; and more so, to drive the
Liv’n Out Loud! lifestyle. As such, the interactive ‘heartbeat’ of the Liv’n Out Loud! website is found in the Lifestyle pages where people can read real stories from others across the country, or share their own Liv’n Out Loud! story. There is also a section where people can define what the term Liv’n Out Loud! means to them. This portion of the website is meant to serve
as real-life inspiration to others; those who are looking to take on the attitude that will enable them to live life to the fullest;
